What this static site and its delivery provider process, and what the local tools do.
ThanksFully is a static website. The current edition has no accounts, comment system or advertising tracker. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and page-load performance. Searches and worksheet entries are processed in your browser; they are not submitted by these tools to a server. The tools do not save a draft automatically. Downloading a draft creates a file on your device.
Website delivery
Requests to load pages and assets can expose an IP address, browser request information, requested URLs and timestamps to the host and Cloudflare, which currently delivers this site. Technical logs can be used for delivery and security. We do not claim that visiting a website creates no data merely because its tools work locally.
Performance measurement
Cloudflare may insert its Web Analytics beacon when delivering a page. The beacon sends page-view and load-performance information to Cloudflare, separately from our writing and comparison tools. Those tools do not send the text or amounts you enter as analytics events. Cloudflare describes its beacon as not using cookies or browser storage for this measurement; requests still involve normal network processing by the delivery provider.
Read Cloudflare’s description of the RUM beacon for the fields collected and its handling of network information. Browser blocking or a failed request can prevent a measurement; analytics are not a complete count of all people.
If you email the publication, the email provider processes the message and the details you choose to include. Do not send passwords, identity documents, private health information or other sensitive material merely to suggest a wording change. We do not claim a guaranteed response time.
